In its essence, Split Fiction is a story-driven co-op video game in which two players go on an emotional experience through various perspectives. One character is in the present moment and the other in a futuristic future. Both timelines are inexplicably linked and players must work together in order to find out the truth.
The game is centered around the themes of choice, consequences memories, and identity. What you do on one timeline has a direct impact on the next. This gives a unique and multilayered way of telling stories which hasn’t been seen in games prior to.
